This is Natalie

This is Natalie her smile is as big and warm as her heart.  She works the clay with precision and finesse like I have never seen before.  From the initial slice of her clay right down to the final application of glaze Not one aspect of the build goes without thought.  

Natalie has had some prior clay experience and her work definitely shows it. Sometimes I watch her as she is creating her masterpiece and I think to myself that it’s like watching an architect draft out a new monument. She utilizes my tape measures, triangles and T-Squares like a pro.  She then turns into interior designer mode when it comes to choosing her glaze colors so precisely to match her initial vision. Every piece she has made makes me gasp at its beauty.  I feel very lucky to have her in my studio because she doesn't just use my tools- she brings them a life.
